About Me

I have started my career as a lecturer in 2012 with potential for growth and accomplishment, seeking a responsible and rewarding career in a prosperous growing institute i.e. University of Swat where educational background, ability and determination are considered valuable. Now I have joined Mardan Women University. My fields of expertise include Clinical Psychology, Research, General Psychology, Consumer Psychology, History of Psychology etc. I want to work in an environment which is open for personal growth and seeking opportunities to explore my potentials so that I can provide my services to this organization in an efficient manner.

RESEARCH ARTICLES & PUBLICATIONS

*      Participated in the 1st National Conference on Emerging Trends & Challenges in Social Sciences, (August 6th -7th, 2014) held at Bara Gali, Abbottabad, Pakistan.

*      Presented a research paper on the topic of “Effects of Displacement on the Academic Motivation of Post-Graduate Students of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa”. in the 14th International Conference of Psychology, The Current Challenges for Psychology: From Crisis to Sustainable Solutions, (19th – 21st March, 2015) held at the Department of Clinical Psychology, University of Lahore, Pakistan.

*      Presented a research paper on the topic of “Relationship of Smoking with Anxiety and Self-Esteem” in the 1st International Conference on Clinical Psychology and the Developing World: Issues, Challenges and Solutions, (9th -10th March, 2017) held at the Institute of Clinical Psychology, University of Management and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan.

*      A research paper has been published in Journal of Law and Society, Law College, University of Peshawar, Vol. 46, No. 66, Jan, 2015, ISSN: 1027-4618 on the topic of “Prevalence of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Among the Internally Displaced Students of Swat and Malakand Districts”.

*      A research article has been published in the PUTAJ – Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Peshawar, Vol. 22, No. 2, Dec, 2015, ISSN: 2219-245X on the topic of “The Relationship of Clothing with Self-Image: A Study of Working Women in Peshawar”.

*      A research paper has been published in the Journal of Applied Environmental and Biological Sciences, Vol. 7, No. 9, Oct, 2017, ISSN: 2090-4274 under the title of “An Analysis of the Impact Of Displacement on Academic Motivation and Self-Efficacy of Graduate Students In Public Sector Universities Of Malakand Division Khyber Pakhtunkhwa”.

*      A research paper has been published in the Journal of Applied Environmental and Biological Sciences, Vol. 7, No. 10, Oct, 2017, ISSN: 2090-4274 under the title of “The Impact of Personal Self on Clothing Choices among Women”.

TRAININGS & WORKSHOPS

*      Provided counseling services at DOST Welfare Foundation, Peshawar in March & April, 2007 and at Rokhana Kor FHH Peshawar in May, 2007.

*      Worked as an internee for six months in Shafique Psychiatric Hospital, Peshawar from Jan –June, 2009.

*      Attended 5-days ToT workshop under NIP-UNDP Project of Provision of Psycho-Social Support to Monsoon Flood Affectees in Selected Districts of Pakistan (Nov 28th – Dec 2nd 2011), organized by National Institute of Psychology, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.

*      Attended 6-days Cascading Workshop on Teaching Effectiveness, held at University of Swat from Oct, 13th – 18th, 2014.

*      Participated in 2-days 2nd International Workshop on Women Leadership in Higher Education held from April 23rd-24th, 2016 at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Abbottabad.

 

*      Conducted 1-day Training Program on The Protection Against Harassment of Women at Workplace as a resource person, on 6th April, 2017.
