Women University Mardan, Bakhshali Campus celebrated Youm-e-Tashakur (Day of Gratitude)

Women University Mardan, Bakhshali Campus celebrated Youm-e-Tashakur (Day of Gratitude) on 16th May 2025 as it was observed across Pakistan to mark the historic victory of Marka-e-Haq and to pay tribute to the armed forces and the resilient people of the country following the success of Operation Bunyan Marsoos.

The session began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. One-minute silence was observed by the Bakhshali Campus to honor the martyrs, followed by paying respect to the Quomi Tarana. Faculty, students, and administrative staff paid heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers and commanders of the armed forces.

Students expressed their views, emphasizing that the nation will never forget the sacrifices of its armed forces and affirmed public solidarity with the military.

Dr. Farah Khan, Dr. Rani Begum, Dr. Hassina Bashir, Dr. Nelofar Ikram, Miss Farah Momi, and Dr. Sadia Kanwal expressed their gratitude to the valiant armed forces, highlighting that our Shaheens gave a befitting response and wrote a golden chapter in military history. The nation collectively expressed gratitude to Allah Almighty for the glorious victory against India’s open aggression and provocation.

Special thanks were extended to Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Safia Ahmad, Registrar Mr. Adnan Ahmad, and Campus Coordinator Mr. Muhammad Kamran for their valuable support and presence during the event, which significantly contributed to its success
