Certificate Distribution Ceremony Held at Women University Mardan under National Outreach Program

The Certificate Distribution Ceremony of the National Outreach Program for Higher Education Faculty was successfully held today at the Bakhshali Campus of Women University Mardan. The program, designed to enhance faculty competencies in teaching skills, pedagogy, and academic innovation, concluded with a formal ceremony attended by distinguished guests and participants.

The 20-day training, sponsored by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the National Academy for Higher Education (NAHE), brought together faculty members from diverse departments, offering an enriching platform to refine instructional strategies and promote academic excellence.

The ceremony began at 11:30 AM with the arrival and seating of participants, followed by the arrival of the Chief Guests: Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana and Mr. Sulaiman Ahmad, Director NAHE. The event commenced with the National Anthem and recitation from the Holy Quran.

The Training Coordinator formally welcomed the guests and provided an overview of the training program, acknowledging the critical role of HEC and NAHE in facilitating such impactful professional development initiatives.

Addressing the participants, Mr. Sulaiman Ahmad appreciated the university’s efforts in successfully implementing the outreach program and highlighted the importance of continuous professional growth in the higher education sector.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana, expressed deep gratitude to HEC and NAHE for their continued support. She emphasized the significance of such training in aligning teaching practices with modern educational standards and praised the organizing team, faculty participants, and support staff for their collective efforts.

A key highlight of the ceremony was the distribution of certificates among 30 successful participants, followed by a shield presentation to honor notable contributors. Shields were awarded to the Chief Guest, the Vice Chancellor, Assistant Director Mr. Ghulam Murtaza, the Training Coordinator, Mr. Adnan Ahmad (Registrar, WUM), and other organizing team members in recognition of their dedication and hard work.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks to all supporters, including clerical and Class IV staff, whose behind-the-scenes efforts ensured the smooth execution of the program. A formal lunch was served at the end of the ceremony.

Marked by professionalism, collaboration, and academic enthusiasm, the event underscored Women University Mardan’s strong commitment to faculty development and educational advancement.

  It is notified for the information of all concerned that the Provisional Merit List for the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme (Phase-IV) has been uploaded.  
Important Note:
1. Provisional Merit list is on behalf of HEC, as per their policy in vogue and does not guarantee the award of a laptop.
2. Any corrections (such as Name, CNIC, Enrollment Number, or CGPA), if needed, should be sent to the Super Focal Person at drfarzana@wumardan.edu.pk, along with relevant proof.
3. The deadline for accepting corrections is 4th July 2025.
