27th Meeting of Syndicate, Women University Mardan for budget approval and key Financial Policies.

Women University Mardan held its 27th Syndicate meeting convened by Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana, Vice Chancellor, Women University Mardan to deliberate on key institutional and financial matters, including the confirmation of the minutes of the 26th meeting of Syndicate and review of actions taken thereafter.
The Syndicate approved the recommendations of the 17th Finance and Planning Committee, Women University Mardan, endorsing various financial and administrative proposals including surplus budget for the financial year 2025-26, aimed at enhancing institutional efficiency. Moreover, in order to facilitate the University’s staff, the Honorable Vice Chancellor (Chair of the Syndicate) approved the minimum wage Ordinance.
Additionally, the house approved the Annual Report for the academic years 2022–23 and 2023–24, along with the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the year 2025–26.
An additional agenda item was presented regarding the University’s Financial Resource Development Plan (2025–2029). The plan was reviewed and recommended by the Syndicate for submission to the Senate, in accordance with Section 20(2)(h) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Universities Act, 2012 (Amended 2025).
Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana, commended the Syndicate’s continued support and reaffirmed the University’s commitment to academic excellence, strategic planning, and financial sustainability.
The chair extended vote of thanks to all the members of Syndicate for devoting their valuable time to Women University Mardan.
