Honorable Vice Chancellor WUM directs early completion of main campus’s construction

Newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of Women’s University Mardan, Professor Dr. Razia Sultana has said that in order to boost confidence and increase interest of students and staff, it is important that a university should have have its own building enabling all stakeholders to work en masse for the betterment of the university and society. When the university departments are in different campuses, the staff of the university becomes rolling stones, which affects the performance of the institution. She expressed these views on the occasion of a detailed visit to the under-construction main campus of Women University Mardan. Other administrative officers of the university were also present on this occasion. The contractor gave a detailed briefing to the Vice-Chancellor regarding the construction work in the campus.

Professor Dr. Razia Sultana also checked the quality of the construction material and said that there will be no compromise on the quality. She remarked that her aim was to establish best facilities for the students by spending government funds with transparency. She instructed the contractors to complete all construction work as soon as possible.

Dr Razia Sultana on this occasion added that students were the leading stakeholders of the university and they deserved better facilities in line with international standards. She said that she will devise strategies to raise standards of academics in the varsity and establish better facilities for students in order to ensure that students become responsible citizens of tomorrow and make a good future for themselves and contribute to the national development.
