The program began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by soul-stirring Na’atia Kalam in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Students and faculty also delivered thought-provoking speeches, shedding light on the noble life and teachings of the Prophet (ﷺ).

Mrs. Gulandam, wife of the Commissioner Mardan, graced the event as Chief Guest, while Syeda Nazia Shah, former President of the Mardan Chamber of Commerce, attended as Guest of Honour. The Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana, warmly welcomed the esteemed guests. She also extended her gratitude to the principals of affiliated colleges who attended the ceremony.

It was noted that the university had earlier observed Rahmat-ul-lil-Alameen Week from September 1 to 5, 2025, during which students enthusiastically participated in a series of activities including Qirat, Naat, Quiz, Debates, and Seminars.

In her concluding remarks, Vice Chancellor Dr. Razia Sultana lauded the organizers for arranging such a meaningful and spiritually rich program. She distributed certificates among the students who secured positions in the Rahmat-ul-lil-Alameen Week competitions, as well as those who participated in the Naat recitations of the day.

“Celebrating Milad-un-Nabi (ﷺ) is an expression of our deep love for the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) and a reminder to practically embody his teachings in our daily lives,” she said. “The Seerah of the Prophet (ﷺ) guides us toward building a just and compassionate society. Those who follow his principles can never face defeat in this world.”
