MOU with Inter-University Consortium for the Promotion of Social Sciences (IUCPSS)
Women University Mardan (WUM) is pleased to announce the signing of a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Inter-University Consortium for the Promotion of Social Sciences (IUCPSS). The MoU was formally signed by the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana, on behalf of Women University Mardan.
The Head of the Department of Biotechnology also participated in the signing ceremony, representing the department’s active role in initiating this collaboration. The Director ORIC was present as well, demonstrating the University’s continued commitment to strengthening research, innovation, and academic partnerships.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the efforts of both the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) and the Department of Biotechnology for their proactive role in facilitating this important agreement. She emphasized that such collaborations enhance academic excellence, promote research culture, and create valuable national and international linkages that benefit students, faculty, and the broader academic community.
Through this partnership, Women University Mardan joins Pakistan’s largest consortium dedicated to advancing social sciences, arts, and humanities. The MoU will enable joint research initiatives, faculty development programs, training workshops, conferences, knowledge-sharing platforms, and student engagement activities—further strengthening WUM’s mission of fostering quality education and meaningful societal impact.
