The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) Women University Mardan (WUM), in collaboration with the United States Educational Foundation Pakistan (USEFP), organized a one-day informational session focused on UGRAD, Humphrey Fellowship, and Fulbright Scholarship opportunities.

A distinguished USEFP delegation, including Saleem Razzaque, Director of Exchange Programs; Mazhar Q. Awan, Director of Alumni Programs; Shahram Niazi, Senior Program Officer; and Zafar Ullah, Senior Program Officer, visited WUM to conduct the session. The event featured in-depth discussions about the application process, eligibility criteria, and the numerous benefits of participating in these U.S.-based academic and professional exchange programs.

The interactive session concluded with a Q&A, where the visiting team addressed students’ queries and shared their experiences. Faculty members also actively participated in the conversation, underscoring the importance of international exchange programs in fostering academic and cultural collaboration.

Prof. Dr. Safia Ahmed, Vice Chancellor, Women University Mardan, appreciated the efforts of the USEFP team in bringing these opportunities to light for the university’s students. She emphasized the importance of such initiatives in empowering young scholars and providing them with pathways to global academic excellence.
