
Women University Mardan Observes Anti-Corruption Week 2025 with Zeal and Enthusiasm
Mardan, October 23, 2025 — Women University Mardan (WUM) observed Anti-Corruption Week 2025 with great zeal and enthusiasm to promote the values of transparency, honesty, and accountability among students and staff. The week-long activities were organized under the supervision of the Student Affairs Section, Character Building Society (CBS), and in collaboration with the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
A series of competitions, including Poster/Painting, Declamation, and Essay Writing (both in Urdu and English), were conducted to raise awareness about the adverse effects of corruption and to encourage integrity and civic responsibility among students. A large number of students participated, showcasing remarkable creativity, expression, and commitment to the cause.
Mr. Hassan Noor, Deputy Director NAB (KP), graced the occasion as the guest speaker and delivered an insightful address emphasizing NAB’s pivotal role in fostering awareness, promoting accountability, and ensuring transparency in public institutions.
The event was honored by the presence of the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana, who appreciated the collective efforts of the organizing committee and lauded the active participation of the students. In her address, the Vice Chancellor underscored the importance of self-discipline, honesty, and accountability as fundamental values for personal growth and institutional excellence.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates and prizes among the winners of various competitions, followed by a group photo session to mark the successful culmination of Anti-Corruption Week 2025 at Women University Mardan.
