A Splendid Celebration: Fun Gala 2025 Lights Up WUM Bakhshali Campus

Mardan, November 12, 2025 — Women University Mardan’s Bakhshali Campus hosted the vibrant Fun Gala 2025, creating a joyful and lively atmosphere filled with creativity, entertainment, and a strong sense of community. The event drew enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and the local community, who enjoyed a wide range of recreational and cultural activities.

A variety of stalls—including food, jewelry, painting, and handicrafts—were set up, showcasing the students’ artistic talents and entrepreneurial skills. Participants also enjoyed exciting attractions such as tanga rides, swings, music, and traditional folk dance, adding a delightful cultural flavor to the celebration.

The event was graced by Mr. Nisar Ahmad, Commissioner Mardan Division, as the Chief Guest. He appreciated the efforts of the organizers and commended the creativity displayed by the students. Professor Shaheen Umar, Principal Frontier College Peshawar, attended as the Guest of Honour and applauded the university’s commitment to the holistic development of students through co-curricular activities.

Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana, Vice Chancellor of Women University Mardan, welcomed the distinguished guests and emphasized that such events promote confidence, teamwork, and social harmony among students. She acknowledged the dedicated efforts of the organizing team and the active participation of the students.

The successful organization of Fun Gala 2025 was made possible under the supervision of Dr. Farah Khan, Dr. Rubina Rashid, Dr. Halima Akbar, Dr. Naila Zubair, Dr. Neelam Zaib, Ms. Owaisha Rahat, Ms. Kiran Qamar, and Ms. Anfal Afridi, with excellent coordination and leadership provided by Campus Coordinator Mr. Kamran Khan and Admin Officer Mr. Muiz. Their tireless efforts and effective management contributed to the smooth execution of the event.

The colorful celebration concluded with joy, music, and smiles, leaving a memorable and cheerful experience for the entire Women University Mardan community and the people of Bakhshali.
