MOU with University of Peshawar

Women University Mardan (WUM) and the University of Peshawar (UoP) have formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at promoting academic excellence, collaborative research, innovation, and institutional development. This strategic partnership underscores both institutions’ shared vision of fostering quality education, research advancement, and capacity building in higher education.

Through this collaboration, the University of Peshawar will extend academic and research support to Women University Mardan by providing access to its research facilities, laboratories, training programs, and academic expertise. The MoU further establishes a framework for joint research projects, student and faculty exchange programs, curriculum development, seminars, and professional training workshops.

A key feature of the agreement is the inclusion of an Intellectual Property (IP) clause, in accordance with the IP Policy of Women University Mardan, ensuring fair ownership, recognition, and protection of all research outputs, publications, and training materials produced under the collaboration.

This partnership is expected to create new learning and research opportunities for WUM students and faculty members, enabling them to benefit from the vast academic and infrastructural resources of the University of Peshawar. It marks an important milestone in WUM’s ongoing efforts to strengthen academic linkages and promote innovation, knowledge sharing, and women empowerment through higher education.
