Women University Mardan (WUM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Youth Alliance for Peace & Development (YAPD) to foster youth empowerment, civic engagement, and peacebuilding initiatives among students. This collaboration aims to provide WUM students with opportunities for leadership development, social responsibility, and active participation in democratic and community-oriented activities.

Under this partnership, both institutions will work jointly to organize capacity-building workshops, awareness campaigns, and youth engagement programs focusing on peace, interfaith harmony, climate action, and socioeconomic development. The MoU also ensures mutual cooperation in research, publications, and knowledge-sharing, in alignment with Women University Mardan’s Intellectual Property (IP) Policy.

This strategic collaboration reflects WUM’s continued commitment to promoting women’s participation in leadership and civic processes, nurturing an informed and empowered generation capable of contributing positively to society.
