3rd Meeting of Institutional Quality Circle Held at WUM
MARDAN: The 3rd Meeting of the Institutional Quality Circle (IQC), Women University Mardan (WUM), was held on 14 September 2026 under the chairpersonship of the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana.
The meeting reviewed key quality enhancement initiatives, including student academic engagement, scholarship opportunities, impactful research, academic integrity, quality publications, and proper course and thesis documentation. Progress on SCALE (Student-Council for Academic Learning & Enhancement), student societies, and sports activities was also discussed.
A briefing was also given on program accreditation, while matters related to strengthening WUM research journals and their quality publications were deliberated upon.
Dr. Monazza Serwar, Secretary IQC, Mr. Adnan Ahmed, Deputy Registrar, Ms. Haleema Ikram, Deputy Director ORIC, and other members of the IQC attended the meeting.
The Vice Chancellor emphasized the importance of continuous quality improvement, effective implementation of quality assurance mechanisms, and strengthening a culture of academic excellence at WUM.
