Women University Mardan Political Science Students Complete 45-Day Internship with District Police Mardan

Mardan: A certificate distribution ceremony was held at the DPO Office Mardan to mark the successful completion of a 45-day internship by Political Science students of Women University Mardan, organized by District Police Mardan.

The ceremony was attended by Vice Chancellor Women University Mardan Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana, Head of Department Dr. Nelofar Ikram, faculty members, DPO Mardan Masood Ahmad, SP Investigation Maria Mustafa, and the participating students.

During the internship, students gained practical exposure to various police units and initiatives, including Police Sahulat Markaz, Investigation, Operations, Safe City, Command & Control, Police Stations, Driving School, PDRM, DRC and Victim Support, along with guidance from relevant police officers.

Sonia secured 1st position, Summyah 2nd, and Iqra 3rd, while certificates were also awarded to the remaining students for successfully completing the internship.

The Vice Chancellor appreciated the initiative and said the students received valuable practical guidance on general policing, which would further strengthen interaction and understanding between the police and students.

DPO Mardan Masood Ahmad said that similar internship opportunities would continue to be offered to students as well.
