Qiraat Competition | Women University Mardan

On the auspicious occasion of the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, the Department of Islamic Studies, Women University Mardan, organized a Qiraat Competition on 25th August.

The event was held with great reverence and devotion, reflecting students’ deep love and respect for the Holy Quran. Students from different departments participated enthusiastically and showcased their beautiful recitation skills.

Competition Results:

1st Position: Ms. Hafsa — Department of Economics

2nd Position: Areesha — 3rd Semester, Department of Biochemistry

3rd Position: Hira Ali — 3rd Semester, Department of Zoology

The competition was judged by Dr. Maria Gul and Dr. Erum Fatima, lecturers in the Department of Islamic Studies, with participants evaluated on pronunciation and the rules of Tajweed.

The Department of Islamic Studies sincerely appreciates the Vice Chancellor for her continuous support and encouragement, and acknowledges the guidance and cooperation of HOD Ms. Rashida Parveen, faculty members, and students in making this event a success.
